The Nyíri parkland

The Nyíri parkland in Kecskemét- Hetényegyháza is one the most popular places for excursionists. Besides, the national celebrations on 15th March and 6th October are held here.

In the 1200 hectare forest one of the most beautiful oak gallery forests of the sand hills can be found. Here you can visit the monument of the martyrs of 6th October 1849, the Saint Hubertus Chapel, the historic museum 1848-49, which was initiated by the forester Szulyovszky László.

In this wonderful parkland you can find the „Vackor Vár” forest school with its 26 hectare territory.
